Have Your Say on Palliative Care in Trafford

Healthwatch Trafford is gathering feedback from local residents to better understand people’s experiences and views on palliative and end-of-life care. Your insight will help shape future services and ensure support meets the needs of our community.

If you would like to take part, you can complete the short survey here:

👉 Palliative Care Survey
https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/JOBUEQ

The survey is open to anyone living in Trafford, whether you have personal experience of palliative care or thoughts you’d like to share.

Thank you for helping improve local services.

World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (WAAW)

🦠 It’s World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW)! – 18–24 Nov🦠

This week, we’re joining the global campaign to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) — when infections no longer respond to antibiotics. It’s a serious issue that can make once-simple infections much harder to treat. World Health Organization+2World Health Organization

Here’s how you can help keep antibiotics working:

  • Don’t ask for or take antibiotics for a cold or flu — they’re usually caused by viruses.

  • Don’t save or share antibiotics — taking them improperly can make them less effective.

  • If you are prescribed antibiotics, take them exactly as directed so they can do their job. GOV.UK

We’re also encouraging everyone to make a pledge to be an Antibiotic Guardian — by committing to one simple act to help tackle AMR. More info here: Antibiotic Guardian – Pledge to be an Antibiotic Guardian

Let’s work together to “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future.” #WAAW #AntibioticGuardian #KeepAntibioticsWorking
